But, this looks more like a longitudinal study, where the researchers were looking for factors which caused or contributed to ED.

Plus, since the subjects were originally recruited from a clinic, it seems unlikely that they would represent people shy to present themselves to doctors.</description>

After all, somebody with erectile dysfonction can be expected to have less frequent intercourse than a perfectly working subject (e.g. to avoid embarrassement).</description>
